A large Worcester pierced basket

circa 1768-72
the yellow ground exterior applied at the intersections with pink and green florets, the crabstock handles with leafy flower spray terminals, the interior fully painted in the centre with colourful flower sprays, the sides with smaller sprigs, the rim gilt, 27.2cm (minor restoration to applied flowers and leaves and a few minute chips also to flowers only)
