A Worcester 'Hop Trellis' teacup and saucer

circa 1775
of fluted form, painted with panels of foliage bearing red berries, alternating with puce monochrome flower sprays within narrower shaped panels, within elaborate puce monochrome and gold borders, the central flower sprays surrounded by turquoise bands painted with faux pearls, saucer 13.8cm, gold crescent marks (a few minute patches of wear to the gilding only) (2)
