A Worcester coffee cup and saucer

circa 1756
thinly cast and moulded in low relief with a 'strap-fluted' ground, painted in blue with the 'Fisherman and Willow Pavilion' pattern (I.B.21) with panels of detailed Chinese fishing scenes and formal insects, the saucer 11.8cm (repaired chip to rim of cup, tiny chips and one short hairline to saucer) (2)
