A small Worcester sauceboat

circa 1758-60
of reeded shape on a low foot, the handle with a raised thumbrest, painted in blue with the 'Fringed Tree' pattern (I.B.10) of simple Chinese islands including an angler and a figure in a small sailing boat, a diaper and floral border inside and a hut by a pylon tree inside the base, 14.7cm long, workman's mark (small chip on footrim)
