circular, the border finely moulded with six inwardly-pointing hollyhock leaves, the edges and applied stalks picked out in shades of bright green, the veins in puce, the centre painted by the 'Castle Painter' with a look-out tower and a house on an island flanked by trees, in a palette of green, brown, yellow, puce and turquoise, 22cm (two areas of restoration to the rim)
