A Very Rare Baltimore Naval Cutlass Of 1804 Pattern Type
Possibly By Mayweg And Nippes Of Philadelphia, Circa 1812

With broad slightly curved single-edged blade struck 'P' on one side at the forte, blackened iron hilt with figure of eight guard and tightly scrolled rear quillon, and blackened ribbed iron grip (some rust patination overall)
