An unusual Nelson commemorative pearlware jug circa 1800-05

of gently swelling shape, the spout moulded with acanthus leaves and flutes, decorated with sieved particles of different coloured clays, a broad border around the neck enamelled in orange with a pattern of circles and dots, reserved with two monochrome scenes, one showing a battleship inscribed 'Nelson and Tars', the other a coastal view, 16.8cm (spout broken and re-stuck, minor chips)
