A Rare Mahogany Case For The Lloyd's Patriotic Fund Sabre and Belt Of £100 Value To W.F. Wise Esq. Cap.tn. Of H.M.S. Mediator, Dated 1807

Fitted and lined in deep blue baize for the sword and belt (one partition incomplete, some moth damage), the exterior of the lid (flush-fitting handle missing, some bruising) with circular brass escutcheon engraved 'From the Patriotic Fund Lloyds London to W.F. Wise Esq. Cap.tn. of H.M.S. Mediator 1807'
