Persian and Arabic manuscript on gold -sprinkled paper, 15 lines to the page written in Persian nasta’liq in black ink, verses from the Qur’an relating to the story of the Prophet Musa (Moses) written in naskhi script in red, margins ruled in colours and gold, outer borders decorated with stencilled floral motifs in red and blue, splits to inner margins crudely repaired, framed, and two other Persian coloured drawings of a standing youth in a landscape and the Imam ‘Ali, 20th Century
