Arabic manuscript on paper, 330 leaves, 8 leaves at beginning and end including the two illuminated frontispieces later replacement, 12 lines to the page written in a clear naskhi script with diacritics and vowel points in black and red, gold discs between verses, margins ruled in red, blue and gold, catchwords, illuminated devices in margins, sura headings in thuluth script in gold, two illuminated frontispieces in colours and gold, remargined, some repairs affecting some words of text, later black morocco painted in colours and gold, doublures painted with floral motifs in gold, repaired, numerous Persian inscriptions in shikasteh announcing births and deaths of members of the family of the owner at end
