Arabic manuscript on paper, 411 leaves, 26 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink, significant words and sentences underlined in red throughout, margins ruled in red, catchwords in wide margins, occasional commentaries in margins, corners rather thumbed, small repairs, brown morocco with stamped central medallion of leather onlay decorated with cloudbands and floral motifs on gold ground, borders tooled in gold, worn, rebacked, with flap, doublures of marbled paper
247 x 178 mm.

Footnotes

Ownership inscription on folio 1a gives the name of Darwish Muhammad ibn Isma’il…….. Biyazji-Zadeh, and the date AH 1296/AD 1878.
