octagonal, the ivory decoration engraved and highlighted with lac, the top with a large rosette within a design of scrolls, palms and flowers with leaves pointing inwards, all within a vine border, the sides with a cusped lozenge within cusped pendants, flowerheads and pointed leaves, losses
