Iran, 9th-10th Century

greenish-blue, gently flaring neck cut with nine shallow rectangular facets, shoulder step-cut and spherical body with two rows of circular facets, 5.5 cm. high; together with A small pale blue glass Bottle, Persia, 12th/ 13th Century, with a cylindrical neck, sloping shoulder and body with moulded vegetal scrolling and an applied spiral on the base; A small green free-blown glass Jug, Persia, 9th/ 10th Century with a tulip-shaped mouth and hollow neck bulge, the tapering body cut with six broad facets, rounded bottom with pontil scar, small applied handle with vertical folded thumb rest, 10 cm. high; A small Jug, yellowish-green, flaring mouth on a piriform body and applied base-knob and with four thick applied fins, 9 cm. high, A small slender toilet Bottle, Egypt, 11th/ 12th Century, brownish purple, flaring mouth onsloping shoulders and tapering six-sided body with applied and marvered opaque white festoon trailing, 9 cm. high, and Another fragmentary toilet Bottle, Persia, 9th-10th Century
