An Iznik pottery Dish
Turkey, 17th Century

with sloping rim, decorated in raised red, blue, green and black outlines with the figure of a peacock with outstretched tail, the peacock surrounded by flowers including a tulips and a prunus spray, the rim with a rosette alternating with floral sprays, the exterior with stylised flowers
