An Iznik pottery Dish
Turkey, circa 1570-75

rimless, decorated in blue, green, raised red and black outlines with a vase containing carnations, flanked by hacinth and prunus sprays, a cloud border around the edge, the exterior with paired tulips alternating with rosettes
27.8 cm. diam.
