Arabic manuscript on paper, 181 leaves, 20 lines to the page written in small naskhi script in black ink, diacritics and vowel points in black and red, diamond- shaped illuminated markers between verses, inner margins ruled in blue and gold, catchwords, occasional Persian commentaries in margins, illuminated devices in margins, sura headings in red within illuminated panels, one double-page illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, slight staining mostly restricted to outer margins, floral lacquer binding, rebacked, doublures with painted narcissi on a green ground
