Arabic manuscript on paper, 36 leaves, 9 lines to the page written in naskhi and thuluth scripts in black ink, significant words and sentences picked out in red throughout, gold discs decorated with red and blue dots between verses, margins ruled in red and gold, catchwords, margins with commentaries written diagonally in nasta’liq script in black ink, one illuminated headpiece preceded by an illuminated panel in colours and gold, corners rather thumbed, some smudging, brown morocco gilt, with flap, doublures of marbled paper
