Arabic manuscript on paper, 242 leaves, incomplete at beginning and end, 33 lines to the page written in maghribi script in brown ink, headings and the words Allahuma and Muhammad picked out in gold or red throughout, inner margins ruled in red, blue and gold, catchwords in wide margins, two illuminated headpieces and two illuminated panels decorated with arabesques and geometric designs in colours and gold, badly waterstained, edges frayed, last folio damaged with loss of text, modern brown binding
