the frosted gilt Swiss movement marked Patent No 8508, with polished visible stopwork and cut and compensated bimetallic balance, the signed and numbered white enamel dial with outer seconds track divided to a fifth of a second enclosing Roman numerals and twin subsidiaries for minutes elapsed and running seconds, gilt hands for hours and minutes and blued steel hands for the chronograph, in a heavy Swiss silver case with gold buttons 54mm. diameter
