Footnotes
This watch was designed and made by John Garbett F.B.H.I of Bristol, and is believed to be the heaviest gold watch in the world. John Garbett started working with watches in 1953 for the Anglo Celtic Watch Company in Ystradgynlas, and then went onto work in India for TIWAC Industries. After leaving TIWAC, he then returned to Bristol where he has spent most of his working life producing 'one off clocks' and repairing antique watches and clocks.
