Footnotes
The International Dragon Class, designed by Johan Anker in 1927. It was chosen as an Olympic Class in 1948. The Duke of Edinburgh, himself a keen Dragon helm in BLUEBOTTLE, presented a Cup to the class as a perpetual trophy for the British National Championships. The Edinburgh Cup was first raced for at Cowes in 1949, being won by K214 BLUE SKIES.
