Rare Cheyenne quilled shirt among successful highlights of fine Native American Art auction at Bonhams
Leading the auction was a rare Cheyenne quilled shirt, circa 1830-1840 from The Bones Collection, that is one of the earliest examples known to exist today. It sold for $338,500 against its pre-sale estimate of $300,000-500,000.
