Stephanie Connell graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in History of Art & Design in 2001, and subsequently studied at Southampton Institute graduating for a MA (Hons) in Fine Art Valuation in 2003. She worked for a provincial auction house in her Lake District hometown as an auctioneer and valuer from 2003 - 2006.
Stephanie began working in the Entertainment Memorabilia department at Bonhams in 2006 and become department head in 2010. In 2011 she was promoted to Departmental Director of Collectors sales. Highlights in Stephanie's career include the Eric Clapton sale of Guitars and Amps which raised $2.15 million for the Crossroads Centre, Antigua in March 2011. Other important sales she has handled include Doctor Who: The Auction in 2010 and auctions on behalf of Angels The Costumiers in 2007 and 2009.
