As Group Director of Bonhams Art Collections, Estates and Valuations department, Harvey has a broad knowledge of fine and decorative arts developed over a 20 year career in the auction business. Directly responsible for managing private client collections throughout the UK and Europe, Harvey works with clients on the long term valuation of their collections and advises them on the sale of individual items as well as large multi-category collections.

From the three day three thousand lot sale on site at The Savoy in London to the two day on-site sale at Trelissick House in Cornwall, Harvey has overseen the sale of Bonhams most important single owner collections over the last decade. His management of other private art collection sales includes The Owston Collection in Sydney, Australia, The Contents of Great Brampton House sold on-site in Herefordshire, The Sampson & Horne Collection and The Wunderman Collection. Harvey has overseen the sale of a number of high profile lots including the sale of a Munch hand-painted etching of 'Madonna', The Ballyfin Cabinet, The Gladstone Family Cabinets and The Castle Howard mirrors.

Harvey is a Director of Bonhams UK Board and a senior auctioneer having taken a number of 100% sold auctions including The Harriet Szechenyi Collection and Trelissick House.
