Catherine Yaiche, Bonhams French representative and auctioneer
Catherine joined Bonhams in 2012.She has a degree in law and diplomas in auctioneering and gemology.
As an art dealer's daughter, Catherine spent her childhood in international exhibitions and the auction world. The art trade has always been part of her life.
After a year travelling around the United States and working in South of France, studying law, Catherine started working for TAJAN, the main French auction house.
For 15 years she was in charge of their furniture department and was later responsible for the organisation of all their major auctions and special events such as the sale of important private collections of Roberto Polo and Hussein Pacha.
She then moved on to work with important dealers such as Galerie Kuegel.
Catherine has also worked as an art advisor to the team of a well known architect (with projects all around Europe), purchasing fine furniture for the homes of Russian and European clients.
