Tanya brings a decade of auction experience in late 19th and early 20th century works on paper and Impressionist & Modern Art to the team. Working closely with William O'Reilly and the international team, she helps to foster a global vision and strategy.
Her areas of focus include guiding collectors, estates and institutions through the auction process as well preparing appraisals. She oversees the sales of Impressionist and Modern Art in New York held in May and November with attention to sourcing material in New York, Texas, Florida and the southern mid-Atlantic states. In the past she has presented works at auction from the Collections of Else Sackler, Billy Wilder as well as a selection of Property of the Seagram Collection New York in 2003.
Prior to joining Bonhams in 2012, Tanya was an advisor to works on paper collectors and also worked for another international auction house serving as an officer and specialist. Additionally, she has worked with Houston Grand Opera and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
