Beth Vilinsky joined the Bonhams New York office in 2010 as a Senior Specialist to the 20th Century Decorative Arts Department.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the auction and private art market. During her career, Vilinsky has secured several landmark sales, including The Barbra Streisand Collection of Decorative and Fine Arts Part II, Ocean Liner Furnishings and Memorabilia, Venetian Glass: An Important Private Collection and Important Design: The Life of Piero Fornasetti. Under Vilinsky's leadership and collegial efforts, her departments at auction houses around the globe have achieved numerous world records prices and secured memorable Tiffany glass collections, such as those from Edwin and Mary Triestman, as well as the Museum of Modern Art.
Vilinsky, a cum laude graduate of Tufts University, began her career at an international auction house in 1988 as a member of the Estates & Valuations Department. With a fierce passion for the applied arts, she honed her skills as a Specialist, and, by 1993, was appointed division Department Head of 20th Century Decorative Arts. During her tenure, she was responsible for all aspects of the auction process, as well as establishing important long term relationships with significant private clients, dealers, museum curators and art advisors throughout the world.
