Camilla Lombardi graduated in 1994 from the City and Guilds of London Art School with a first class honours degree in Fine Art and the Executive Committee's Award for Outstanding Work.
For two years she exhibited as a professional artist before joining Bonhams in 1996 as a saleroom assistant. A year later Camilla transferred into the Portrait Miniature Department and in 2000 she became Head of Department.
In 2004 Camilla was jointly responsible for the sale of the Albion Collection of Fine Portrait Miniatures, which sold for over £1.5 million. The auction remains the most successful single-owner sale of portrait miniatures ever to be held. Camilla was made a Department Director in the same year, becoming Department Consultant in 2013.
