Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Eric was bitten by the motorcar bug early in grade school while flipping through various car magazines at the local library. From a non-motoring family, he dragged his parents to various shows in the Chicagoland area and car museums in whatever city he happened to visit. Building upon a strong interest in American motorcars, particularly those from the Grand Classic era through the Detroit Muscle era, he established himself as familiar face in the Midwest vintage car scene.
After graduating from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Eric helped work on and restore Packards and Auburns in Chicago before joining Bonhams in San Francisco in early 2007.
Since becoming part of the team, he was instrumental in the sell out Wallace 'Wally' Lewis Collection sale in Portland, Oregon.
In January 2012, Eric moved to New York City to join Rupert Banner and Evan Ide on the Eastern Seaboard.
