Jennifer Kurtz is a Specialist in the Decorative Arts Department at Bonhams in Los Angeles. In her current position at the company, her responsibilities include appraising European decorative arts and acquiring property for Fine European Furniture and Decorative Arts sales in the US.
Kurtz has lended her expertise to such single owner sales as The Collection of Sir Daniel Donohue, Property from the Estate of Maria Helen Smith, Property from the Estate of Elizabeth Colyear Vincent and The Estate of Jean Perkins Stuart.
Prior to her current position, Kurtz worked within Bonhams in various roles, including serving as its Junior Specialist/Cataloger and Business Manager/Cataloger in the Furniture and Decorative Arts Department. Before she joined Bonhams in 2001, Kurtz was a Contract Museum Educator at the San Diego Museum of Art, where she assisted with the museum's Art School Youth programs.
Kurtz holds an MA in History and Museum Studies, Art History from the University of Central Oklahoma and a BA in European History.
