Patrick Hawes

Patrick Hawes is head of the Modern Sporting Gun Department at Bonhams. He joined the company in 2006 after a number of years running the sporting gun department at another leading international auction house.

He has been responsible for the successful sale of a number of well-known collections including Emil Rosner, Geoffrey Boothroyd, Russel B. Aitken.

Patrick is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers and is a member of the Historical Breech Loading Small Arms Association.

Thanks to his efforts the Sporting Gun department which holds three sales a year at Knightsbridge, has grown significantly, becoming one of the global leaders in this specialist field.
