Bonhams is delighted to announce the appointment of Jim Reynolds as Motorcycle Consultant for Shropshire, Wales and Gloucestershire. Jim has been riding and racing motorcycles for more than 60 years.

As a freelance journalist, Jim's work has made the columns of countless publications throughout the world including MCN, Classic Bike, The Classic Motor Cycle, Bike and Vintage Bike (USA). Jim launched Classic Bike Guide magazine with Frank Westworth in 1990. He is also a published author, having written three books illustrating his knowledge and passion for motorcycles, in particular Nortons. In 1985, Jim launched the prestigious Borders Classic Bike Show, and he regularly acts as an interviewer, commentator and host at leading classic bike shows throughout the UK.

Jim commented: 'Having previously sold items at Bonhams auctions, I was always impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the operation.
