Investment Pieces from Iconic Brands Focus of the Sale

Fine Jewellery & Jadeite
23 Nov 2013
Hong Kong, Admiralty

Signed fine jewellery from the most coveted brands in the world such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co, Graff, Chanel, Bulgari and Buccellati headline the Fine Jewellery and Jadeite Auction to be held on 23 November at the Island Shangri-La Hotel.
Noted for quality, rarity and collectability, these incomparable jewels set a benchmark in craftsmanship and detail, innovation and inspiration. Moulded to perfection, they personify luxury, grace, class and elegance.
Adding to the treasure trove is a selection of precious diamonds, coloured stones, Kashmir sapphires, Burmese rubies and Colombian emeralds of excellent colour, clarity, cut and size.
Exquisite jadeite, long revered by Chinese and Asian collectors as the symbol of good luck, good health, happiness, and power to resist evil spirits, also make a strong showing.
"The demand for fine signed jewellery, diamonds, coloured diamonds and precious stones is growing fast as connoisseurs look for one-of-a-kind gems that best represent their sophisticated taste. The jewellery collection we have sourced from around the world more than meets this demand with art deco, 1960s and 1970s fine jewellery bearing the hallmark of the finest craftsmen. These pieces are works of art in their own right and they are becoming harder and harder to find as time passes. The intrinsic value of a brand is imbued with the makers' heritage and hallmark which adds to the immense desirability," says Graeme Thompson, Director of Jewellery, Bonhams Asia.
