Bonhams return once again to the Royal Air ForceMuseum Hendon with a diverse selection of 80 cars to suit all tastes. Sale highlights include three cars from a recently deceased connoisseur of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars including a 1957 Bentley S-Series Continental Sports Saloon by H.J. Mulliner estimate £180,000 – 220,000, a 1924 Bentley 3-Liter Speed Model fresh from long
term ownership estimate £150,000 – 180,000, Ferrari Daytona Spider (conversion) £200,000 – 250,000, for the veteran motor car enthusiast a 1901 Darracq 6½hp, estimate £55,000 – 65,000, and two very good quality Talbots a 1929 14/45 Doctors Coupe and a 1935 BA105 Tourer, offered from the collection of a recently deceased enthusiast for the marque with estimates of £25,000 – 30,000 and £70,000 – 90,000
The Royal Air Force museum offers a most evocative venue with marvels of automotive design complimented by the Aeronautical masterpieces they are displayed amongst.
