We are delighted to announce that, from January 25th 2016 Bonhams in the West of Scotland will be moving from Glasgow city centre to Kirkhill House, a prestigious Victorian villa in Newton Mearns, on the southern outskirts of Glasgow.

We will continue to offer advice in the sale and purchase of pictures, furniture, works of art, jewellery, silver, ceramics, books, arms, coins, wine and whisky. Appointments for auction valuations are free and confidential and are available in the new office or your home. Bonhams Glasgow also holds a regular series of valuation days with specialists visiting from our Edinburgh and London salerooms.

The Glasgow office is also closely involved in the auctions at our Edinburgh saleroom which feature a number of fine and decorative auctions throughout the year as well as our annual Scottish Sale in April which features a wide variety of Scottish Art & Antiques. In addition we also consign items for our London and International sales sending items to be sold in auctions in Knightsbridge, New Bond Street, New York and Hong Kong.

Whilst our specialist valuers are primarily involved in appraising items for auction sale, we also undertake valuations for inheritance tax, family division and insurance and have experts who can advise on tax and heritage matters.
