The inaugural music room auctions in 2009 were a great success attracting many new
bidders to the London Musical Instrument Auction market from all corners
of the globe. There were many highlights in the sales, including
two Les Paul Gibson guitars, a private mandolin collection and a large
Danish collection of violins, alongside harps, concertinas, bows and of
course violins, cellos and double basses. Items ranged in date from 17th
Century English guitars and French harps to contemporary electric
guitars and similar items are sought for the next Music Room Auction in
January 2012.
