The toplevers and ribs engraved '1' and '2', the fences and lockplates with best large scroll engraving, cocking-indicators, much hardening-colour, highly-figured replacement stocks with leather-covered recoil-pads, the chopper-lump barrels with game-ribs engraved J. Purdey & Sons, Audley House, South Audley Street, London, England
Weight 6lb. 5½oz. (No. 1) and 6lb. 5oz. (No. 2), 15in. pulls (14in. stocks), 28in. barrels, approx. ¼ & 5/8 choke (No. 1) and I.C. & ¾ choke (No. 2), 2½in. chambers, London nitro proof
