A position for a Trainee has become available in our Collectors' Motorcycle Department. This is a demanding role, requiring enthusiasm, attention to detail and a flexible approach.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing incoming and outgoing consignments, confirming entries with vendors, assisting with email enquiries pre-, during, and post-sale; and completing new owner details on registration documents. You will assist with sale set up, support the office during the sale, collect and manage vehicle documents prior and during the sales, and organise collections and deliveries for customers. You will also provide administrative support to the department. Additionally, from time to time, you will be asked to represent the Department at events.
Excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure with heavy workloads and with deadlines is essential. You must have strong computer skills with a good knowledge of Word and Excel, in addition to excellent communication, administrative and customer service skills. You must be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. The Motorcycles Department holds up to eight sales per year, the majority of which take place on a Saturday or Sunday, therefore willingness to work weekends is essential to the role.
A full, clean driving licence is essential, whilst experience of driving commercial vehicles and moving motorcycles is desirable.
