Operations Assistant (1 year fixed term) - New Bond Street

We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant on a 1 year fixed term contract. You will assist in all aspects of operations within the UK and Europe and liaise with the Group Operations Director in the planning, administration and maintenance of all Auction Operations schedules and budgets.

Duties will include but not be limited to assisting the Operations team in maintaining and co-ordinating various gallery related aspects. You will be expected to liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure we are receiving the best market prices. Tasks also include (but are not limited to) ensuring all risk assessments are completed for each sale, assisting the UK Logistics Manager in a range of aspects of operations, working closely with the gallery managers and dealing with property transport bookings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral. Equally you will be a flexible team player as well as be able to work on your own. A sound knowledge of Windows XP and MS Outlook is required.
