A position has become available for a Junior Specialist to join our internationally renowned Motorcars Department, based in London.
As Junior Specialist your main responsibility will be, assisting with business getting and valuing of incoming items for sale. The role will also include handling customer enquiries over the telephone, email or at the reception desk and liaising with clients and reps on a daily basis. You will work closely with the department administrators on all aspects of work and to organize and co-ordinate sales and outside events. You will assist with the production of the department's quarterly newsletter and maintain the department's web page. There will be admin involved in your role, for the maintaining of the client database, typing of general correspondence and writing condition reports.
At sales you must have a hands on approach and assist with all aspects related to the sale process. The Motorcars department hold up to 10 sales per year, some of which take place on a Saturday or Sunday, and outside the UK, therefore a willingness to work weekends and travel is essential to the role.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and orally. Based in a demanding environment excellent time management and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to work accurately and well under pressure. Additionally, you will have good word processing skills along with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and a driving license is required.
