Bonhams are currently seeking a Junior Cataloguer to join their Watches Department based in our Knightsbridge saleroom.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, cataloguing items to be sold in our regular Watch sales, with the assistance of consultants when needed; photographing items for sale and uploading them onto the company website; and liaising with clients and other relevant departments.
In addition your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the efficient handling of client enquiries received by telephone, email, post and from clients attending the reception desk at Knightsbridge; liaising with other specialists in the company and with consultants to ensure prompt advice and service to our clients; maintaining control of property in and out of the department; all pre and post sale administration; and general day to day office management.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have an interest in Watches and past horlogical experience will be advantageous. You will be computer literate with a sound knowledge of MS Office. The successful applicant must also have the ability to work well within a team as well as independently, possess excellent time management and organisation skills, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
