A position for an Administrator has become available in our Collectors' Motorcycle Department.
As Administrator you will be responsible for all pre and post sale administration and preparing any necessary signage or display material required for our predominantly off site sale viewings and exhibitions. You will assist with the efficient handling of client enquiries by telephone, email and post, liaising with the department specialists as and when necessary to ensure prompt advice and service to our customers. In addition you will liaise with the Specialists in the production of catalogues and ensure all cataloguing and images are uploaded on the website for each sale.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing incoming and outgoing consignments, confirming entries with vendors, assisting with email enquiries pre, during and post sale, and completing new owner details on V5C vehicle registration documents post sale. You will assist with sale setup, support the office during the sale, collect and manage documents prior and during sales, and organise the collections and deliveries for customers. Additionally, you will periodically be asked to represent the Department at events.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure with heavy workloads and to deadlines is essential. You must have strong computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel, in addition to excellent communication, administrative and customer service skills. You must be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. The Motorcycles Department holds up to 8 sales per year, the majority of which take place on a Saturday or Sunday, therefore willingness to work weekends is essential to the role.
