Bonhams is looking to employ an experienced General Valuer to join our existing team at our Bury St Edmunds office. Working out of this busy office, we are looking for a proven business winner with the aptitude and experience to enhance the success of our operations in the region.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, carrying out sale and written appraisals, visiting clients across the region sourcing goods for sale, providing formal appraisal reports to a professional standard for probate, market and insurance purposes; assisting at regional events and attending our regular appraisal days.
With excellent interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, you will show a willingness to succeed by further developing links with new and existing clients, You will possess a good general knowledge of the fine art and antiques market, as well as thorough understanding of the auction environment and current auction values and trends. You will present a confident, professional approach to the role, and be able to work on your own initiative, whilst prioritizing your time effectively. A full clean driving license and your own vehicle are required for this role.
