Costume and Textiles

The Bonhams Costume and Textiles department runs four specialist Textiles sales per year, held in conjunction with the Oak Sale. The department specialises in selling items from the 17th to the early 20th centuries, focusing particularly on period clothing and accessories, lace and associated equipment, sewing tools, both Asian and European fans, fine baby gowns, Chinese textiles and robes, shawls, quilts and needleworks.

The department also specialises in selling top designer handbags, including Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Chanel, through sales in London and Oxford.
