The Stamp and Postal History Department specializes in all levels of the postage stamp market, ranging from complete collections to international rarities in the field of philately. We will be offering two auctions per year in Bonhams' salerooms.

Whether it be a choice 1840 Penny Black from Great Britain, the world's first stamp, a United States 5c 1847 issue, or a 1918 24c Jenny biplane with inverted center, we are pleased to offer single lots or entire collections ranging in appraise from $1,000 to over $100,000. Of special interest are classic United States and All World single stamps and covers 1840-1930, Western Postal History, Great Britain, and The Far East including China up to 1980.
