Prints

The Print departments in London and the United States hold approximately four global print auctions a year. Collectors will find a wide range of material from every artistic and historical movement. From the early Old Master Print makers such as Rembrandt, Dürer and Piranesi to works by the modern and contemporary masters including Chagall, Miró, Matisse, Lichtenstein, Picasso printed works and ceramics, Warhol, Hockney, Hirst, Freud and Jasper Johns amongst many others. The departments also have auctions of decorative prints and posters, including works by Alphonse Mucha, Jules Chéret, Toulouse-Lautrec and Leonetto Cappiello.

Following the success of our inaugural sale, we are delighted to announce our forthcoming auction devoted to The Grosvenor School & Avant-Garde British Printmaking in April 2013.

In addition Bonhams is delighted to offer Prints through three dedicated sales at our Knightsbridge saleroom. Our Knightsbridge sales concentrate on Modern British printmaking and feature works by Frink, Piper, Scott, Heron and Frost among others.
