The Australian art department at Bonhams offers exceptional works by Australia's most significant artists. In 2013 Bonhams will hold four important Australian art auctions in March, June, August and November including exceptional single-owner collections.
Bonhams has sold major Australian paintings from Colonial to the present: impressionist and colonial artists including works by Frederick McCubbin, Arthur Streeton, Tom Roberts, Walter Withers, Emanuel Phillips and Charles Conder; great modernist artworks by Arthur Boyd, Brett Whiteley, Ian Fairweather, John Olsen, Justin O'Brien, Sidney Nolan, Charles Blackman and John Perceval; and outstanding contemporary art by Rosalie Gascoigne, Gordon Bennett, Ildiko Kovacs, William Robinson and Ken Whisson.
