Bonhams Australian Fine Art Department offers a wide range of specialist services to collectors of traditional, modern and contemporary art. Our team of art experts bring over 50 years experience in the Australian and International secondary art market.

In 2011, Bonhams achieved exceptional results for works by Brett Whiteley, Ian Fairweather, Arthur Boyd, Rupert Bunny, Norman Lindsay, Kathleen O'Connor, Bill Henson, Tim Maguire and John Olsen to name a few. In particular, two works attributed to S.T. Gill which were repatriated from London, were sold for five times their low estimates achieving $112,200 and $125,400 respectively.

We are now seeking consignments of important Australian art and sculpture for our forthcoming May and November Australian Fine Art Sales in Sydney. Valuation days are held regularly in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
