The Furniture and Decorative Arts Department at Bonhams & Butterfields offers collectors and enthusiasts a diverse and rich variety of offerings spanning the 16th through the 20th centuries encompassing all stylistic developments from the Renaissance through the early 20th century throughout Europe and America. Within this department’s offering one will find furniture, Americana and folk art, ceramics, bronzes, glass, metalwork, marbles & sculpture, textiles & tapestries, garden statuary, clocks, early works of art and all related decorative arts. The team of specialists provides nearly a century and a half of expertise in appraising, identifying and marketing antique & collectible furniture & decorative arts.

Six fine furniture sales are held annually in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, with a fully illustrated catalog available on and off line. Additionally through the SOMA and Sunset sales in San Francisco and Los Angeles the furniture and decorative arts department offers mid-range and collectible items in 18 sales annually.
