Our team of specialists cover a wide range of English and Continental works of art and sculpture. The department specialises in items ranging in date from 12th to 19th centuries dealing with a variety of materials including ivory, marble and stone carvings, terracotta, wood, bronze, plaster, early Limoges, Nottingham and Malines alabasters, early stained glass panels, early metal ware including iron, brass, bronze and unusual and early ecclesiastical items. Items handled in this diverse area range from the decorative, such as sculptures, plaques and caskets to the functional such as candlesticks, tea caddies and candelabras.
